Jourdan Lewis, Darius Slay torch Noah Lyles over Tyreek Hill comment: "I don’t like this mf"
Noah Lyles has been in the news since the last year. The 27-year-old star's criticism of the NBA champions referring to themselves as world champions was not well received by the NBA players.
Tyreek Hill is the latest athlete to take issue with Lyles' comments. The Dolphins wide receiver recently also said that he could beat the 100-meter Olympic gold medalist in a race.
In a new video, Lyles admits to forgetting Tyreek Hill's name and refers to him as the 'Cheetah guy from football'. Fans didn't like the sprinter's attitude, and two NFL players also expressed their feelings towards him.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis openly said he doesn't like Lyles and Darius Slay co-signed his comments.
"I don’t like this mf dawg." Lewis said about Noah Lyles
"Man me neither.. bra lame af frfr", Slay said in response to Lewis' post.
Tyreek Hill has not responded to Lyles' video yet. It wouldn't be surprising if the Dolphins star once again calls out Lyles, once he sees the video, as the sprinter's attitude in the video was quite strange.
Tyreek Hill's rift with Noah Lyles explained
In a recent conversation with Kay Adams, Tyreek Hill highlighted Noah Lyles' loss in the Men's 200-metre race at the Olympics. It seemed like the wide receiver was directly offended by Lyles' comments about the American sports athletes referring to themselves as 'world champions' after winning their respective leagues. Hill said:
"Noah Lyles can't say nothing after what just happened to him, then he went and came out and pretended like he's sick. I feel like that's horseradish. So, for him to, like, do that and say that we're not world champions of, like, our sport says, like, 'Come on, bro. Like, just speak on what you know about.'"
"I will beat Noah Lyles," Hill added. "I won't beat him by a lot, but I will beat Noah. And guess what? When I beat him, I'mma put on a COVID mask and let him know I mean business, because I do mean business."
Hill was absolutely serious when he challenged Lyles to a race but based on Lyles' reaction in the video, it doesn't seem like he will entertain a race with Hill.
NBA star Josh Hart recently admitted that he rooting against Lyles at the Olympics. Other NFL players are also expected to say something regarding the situation.
