Justin Herbert's girlfriend Taylor Bisciotti favors Justin Fields over Russell Wilson for Steelers' 52-man roster

The Pittsburgh Steelers just released their 52-man roster, and the team chose Russell Wilson over Justin Fields for the starting quarterback position. Justin Herbert's girlfriend, Taylor Bisciotti, isn't impressed with the decision.

On Wednesday, Bisciotti took to her Instagram story to share her reaction to the Steelers' 52-man roster. The NFL reporter said she'd be surprised not to see Fields overtake Wilson by week five.

"My thoughts stay the same... come week 5... I'd be very surprised if Justin Fields doesn't take over as QB1"

Wilson is aware of the opportunity and took to his X account to express his gratitude.

"Blessed & Full of Gratitude. Honored to Lead this special group of men. 'But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.' Matthew 6:33"

Wilson and Fields had a tight competition for Pittsburg's starting quarterback spot. Following the roster release, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin revealed facing multiple challenges while choosing between the veteran signal callers.

Steelers HC revealed major challenges when selecting his latest QB1

On Wednesday, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin spoke with the media about his 52-man roster. Tomlin is happy to have two strong quarterbacks. However, the veteran coach explained why he chose Wilson over Fields:

"As we got into camp, it really got competitive. It became evident that the decision was going to be difficult. Justin's talents are more than I anticipated, particularly his mobility, the things that he can do and create was really exciting. Russ' deep ball is even more impressive than his reputation, and I've seen it for 10-plus years or more toward 15 years in the NFL. To be around it every day, it was really exciting."

However, Mike Tomlin's statement suggests that Fields can supplant Wilson at any time. Considering Bisciotti's statement, fans might see the 2021 NFL draft pick leading the Steelers before week five.
