Kay Adams clears air around viral Daniel Jones dating rumors
Kay Adams and quarterback Daniel Jones sparked dating rumors after an interview. Adams, the host of the "Up and Adams Show," cleared the rumors this week.
As a guest on "Unplugged," Adams was asked by former NFL running back LeSean McCoy if she was dating New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.
[2:33] LeSean McCoy: I need to ask. Are you on and Daniel Jones...are you guys dating?
Kay Adams: You scared me so much.
Adams: DeSean Jackson came on my show every day, every week, last year. Are we dating? That would be my answer to that question.
[3:45] Adams: I'm not dating Daniel Jones, breaking breaking news. I've met him all of two times. Wish him the best. I'm pretty sure he has a girlfriend.
Adams concluded that they weren't dating and that she believed Jones already has a girlfriend.
Kay Adams and Daniel Jones sparked dating rumors after training camp interview
As part of her "Up and Adams Show", host Kay Adams traveled to NFL training camps across the country, covering major storylines. One of her stops was to visit the New York Giants, where she interviewed quarterback Daniel Jones. Adams interviewed Jones about his recovery from ACL surgery that shortened his 2023 NFL season.
During the interview, Adams began stuttering and losing her train of thought, which had many contemplating if there was some type of relationship. The two were simply talking about country music stars Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan.
The moment between Adams and Jones has since gone viral, sparking rumors of a possible relationship. Just last week, Adams poked fun at the story and the rumors herself.
While interviewing New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor a couple of weeks ago, she poked fun at the story.
"You gotta protect your boy, my boy, the world, internet thinks, my boy," Adams said.
While both laughed about the rumors, she ended the interview with Jermaine Eluemunor by jokingly calling Daniel Jones her "boyfriend." That was the first time until this week's interview that Adams addressed the ongoing viral moment.
