Kay Adams opens up about dating rumors with Giants QB Daniel Jones
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been linked with Sportscaster Kay Adams for a while. In an interview recently, Adams shed light on the reality behind the dating speculations and her current relationship status with Jones.
On Tuesday's episode of Kay Adams' Up & Adams show, Jones' teammate and Giants offensive guard Jermaine Eluemunor was a guest. While interviewing Eluemunor, Adams mentioned how a lot of people think she is dating the quarterback.
“You gotta protect your boy, my boy, [who] the world [and] internet thinks [is] my boy. I don’t want to talk about it. A girl can’t win. I’m trying to hype up your boy," Adams said.
Moving forward in the interview, the two talked about Jones' looks for the upcoming regular season. The sportscaster ended the conversation about the quarterback in a hilarious way, asking Eluemunor to protect him in the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings.
"I believe in you. Go protect my boyfriend,” Adams said with a laugh.
The dating speculations were fueled last month when Daniel Jones made an appearance on the Up & Adams show and appeared stuttering while talking to the sportscaster.
Amidst the dating rumors, the quarterback remains focused on making an impactful comeback, as he prepares for the upcoming 2024 regular season.
Giants linebacker wants fans to believe in Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones is all set to make a most anticipated comeback from an ACL injury, and his teammate asked fans to believe in the quarterback. In an interview with Kay Adam in July, Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke requested fans not to give up on Jones so soon.
"From day one, first guy in, last guy out mentality. Obviously, he's a smart guy, went to Duke, and he just got poise. I mean, he's got a hell of an arm... It's go time. So we all know, we all feel the urgency. And I'm excited for him. His preparation is second to none. He's gonna have a great year," Okereke said.
Even though there are fans with low faith in Daniel Jones, there are many who believe in him. In fact, they are the ones who appreciated Brian Daboll's decision to stick with the quarterback.
The Giants are all set to face the Minnesota Vikings for the first regular season game and Jones would be looking forward to making a big bang.
