Kenny Chesney draws parallels between Tom Brady and Taylor Swift's work ethic

Taylor Swift might be dating Travis Kelce, but Kenny Chesney has found the signing sensation is most comparable to Tom Brady when it comes to work ethic.

The country singer said he was watching the New England legend being inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame when the thought struck him. He saw Bill Belichick come on stage, and his mind first went to what might happen because there are many storylines one could see developing.

Speaking to the Pat McAfee show, Kenny Chesney noted that they talked about work instead:

"At the Tom Brady Hall of Fame event, it was really interesting, because Belichick was there, and he came out, and he talked, and I was going, ‘Oh, this is this could be interesting to see what happens’. But they were talking about the amount of work."

Kenny Chesney draws a line from Tom Brady to Taylor Swift to show how GOATs work

At this point in time, very few can argue that Taylor Swift is the greatest performer at the moment, and Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. And Kenny Chesney sees the parallels that have allowed both to reach where they are.

The country singer recalled how the quarterback said that gameday was the one the New England players used to look forward to because they were being pushed so hard during the week that it was exhausting.

He said that it's the same with Taylor Swift who puts in a lot of hard work to reach the performance level that we see:

"Like Tom was talking about, ‘It was so hard during the week, that Sunday was the day they look forward to'. Sunday, because Bill put them through so much during the week.
"Yeah. So it's kind of like the same with, with Taylor and the people that get to a point in their life where it looks easy, but it's not."

It should come as no surprise to see that two professionals at the top of their fields are hard-working. But just how much application goes on behind the scenes is not something readily available to most of us and hearing Kenny Chesney confirm it was nice to hear.

While Tom Brady has hung up his boots after more than two decades at the very top, Taylor Swift is still going, though, and it looks like she has many more hits to come.
