Kirk Cousins' family kicks off Christmas season with adorable 'Santa brunch'
Christmas is a little more than three weeks away. To keep up with the festive spirit, Kirk Cousins' wife, Julieh, kicked off the holiday season with a "Santa brunch." She posted a picture from the celebration on an Instagram Story on Sunday, even as he threw four interceptions in the Atlanta Falcons' 17-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
In the image, a Christmas tree twinkled with decorations, and at the heart of the picture was Santa Claus with Mrs. Claus by his side. Alongside, Kirk and Julieh's two sons, Cooper and Turner, sat comfortably on a sofa.
Looking ahead, there's no Christmas Day game for the Falcons. The team will play the New York Giants three days before Christmas. So, Kirk Cousins should be able to enjoy the holiday at home with his family on Dec. 25.
The Falcons (6-6) will next play at the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and then at the Los Angeles Raiders on Dec. 17.
Kirk Cousins' family spent the Atlanta Falcons'
bye week in Michigan
NFL seasons can be full of rigorous demands. So, when the bye week arrives, it gives the players a much-needed break. When the Atlanta Falcons entered their bye week in Week 12, QB Kirk Cousins and his wife, Julieh, took advantage of the rare chance by spending quality time with their family in Michigan.
She shared a series of photos from their trip on Instagram.
Among all the pictures, the real highlight was Kirk's photo from Spartan Stadium, the home of his college football team, the Michigan State Spartans.
Ten years have passed since Kirk and Julieh have been married.
They met in the same year when the veteran QB debuted in the NFL with the Washington Commanders. Since 2012, she has been a constant source of strength through the ups and downs of Cousin's career.
