Kirk Cousins' wife Julie reminisces about old memories as the Atlanta Falcons quarterback is preparing for his upcoming game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
Julie shared a story on her Instagram account, remembering the old memories. Notably, Cousins played for Washington during the initial days of his career. As the NFL star is gearing up to compete against his former team, his wife Julie shared her excitement to "go down memory lane." She posted a picture of her luggage on her Instagram story along with the caption saying:
"DC Bound!!! Haven't been back to Ashburn, VA since we moved 7 years ago! Cannot wait to go down memory lane with Cooper (who was born here)."
Julie and Kirk welcomed their first child, Cooper, in 2017 when he was playing for the Washington Commanders.
Julie also shared another story reminiscing about the old days. She posted a throwback group picture from Washington Commanders' punter Tress Way's wife Brianna's baby shower.
"7 years ago today....threw a sweet baby shower for @brianna.way who's probably the only one in this photo still on the team!! See you soon!"Julie wrote on IG.
Kirk Cousins and Julie have been married since 2014. They met through a mutual friend in 2012, and after dating for two years, they tied the knot on June 28, 2014, in Atlanta. The couple has been blessed with two kids. Their elder son Cooper was born in September 2017, while their younger son Turner was born in March 2019.

Kirk Cousins' wife posted another story, cheering for her husband's team. She acknowledged that Kirk's time playing for Washington Commanders from 2012 to 2017 was special. However, as Cousins now plays for the Falcons, Julie cheered for them in the caption.
"Forever grateful for our first 6 seasons in the NFL on the Redskins! But let's get 'em tomorrow Falcons!!" she wrote.
Kirk Cousins played the initial six years of his career in the NFL for the Washington Redskins, who are now known as the Washington Commanders. He was later traded to the Minnesota Vikings and played for the team from 2018 to 2023 before moving to the Atlanta Falcons in 2024.
The Falcons are having a decent season in 2024. They have won their last two games, heading for their matchup against the Commanders.
