"Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni" - Travis Kelce quotes The Rock, layeth the smackdown on Cincinnati mayor

Travis Kelce brought out all the receipts!

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end wasn't in the mood to be a gracious winner after his team beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in the AFC championship game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.

During the Lamar Hunt trophy presentation, Kelce took the mic, cut a promo, and buried Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval for his jibe at Patrick Mahomes with the help of an iconic Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson catchphrase. The tight end said:

"Hey, I've got some wise words for that Cincinnati mayor. Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni! You got to fight for your right to party! Get the f**k out!"

Why did Travis Kelce call out Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval after Chiefs vs. Bengals?

In a video Pureval posted on Twitter to hype up the Bengals and Chiefs' AFC championship game, he said:

"Whereas Joseph Lee Burrow.. who's 3-0 against Mahomes has been asked by officials to take a paternity test.. to confirm whether or not he's his father."
A WHO DEY proclamation from the Mayor:

Pureval later apologized for his video, writing:

"Bengals nation, Lol. I hear you. My competitive juices and love for Cincy got the best of me. My bad. Staying hungry and humble. See you Sunday. Who Dey baby!"

Despite the apology, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs were not in the mood to forgive Pureval and decided to give him an epic and expletive response to his video.

Mahomes, Kelce and the Chiefs will head to their third Super Bowl in four years and look to beat Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles, who defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 earlier on Sunday.

In a storyline befitting WWE, Kelce will take on brother Jason, who plays for the Eagles, and only one will come out on top in the Super Bowl next Sunday.
