Kyle Juszczyk's wife Kristin discusses hosting 49ers event for Women of the Niners

All football teams are said to be closely-knit brotherhoods - and the 49ers are no different. But apparently, this extends to their women as well.

Besides being Kyle Juszczyk's wife and fashion designer, Kristin Juszczyk has also been a host - more specifically of the Women of the Niners (WON) fan event Fit Check. Launched in 2023, it had its second iteration last week. She said during the event that hearing stories of women being inspired to take up tailoring or anticipate what she would wear inspired her to continue her career:

“It’s so inspiring meeting all these women and hearing all their stories. I’ve always said that fashion is like armor to me. It’s like a protective shield and when you’re confident is when you’re at your best self. It’s like ‘look good, play good’ so that kind of transcends into what I’m doing.”

On Wednesday, just under a week after the event, Kristin expounded on how greatly she enjoyed the experience in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Wednesday:

"Hearing their stories about how I inspired them to pick up a sewing machine, start crafting with their daughters, or simply look forward to what I create each week really lit a fire under me. It motivated me to keep going and highlighted the incredible sisterhood that has formed in our community."

She also discussed her new partnership with Marriott Bonvoy Hotels, wherein fans can win a unique piece of merchandise designed by her:

"I want to bring their exact vision to life. While I can put my own twist on it, the focus is really on what they want. I can't wait to connect with someone and make a unique piece just for them!"
