Ladd McConkey's girlfriend Sydney Horne hypes up WR after Chargers draft Georgia star in 2024 NFL Draft
Ladd McConkey is California-bound.
On Friday's Round 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers selected the Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver with the 34th overall pick. His girlfriend Sydney Horne was elated at the development, saying on her Instagram Stories:
"WE'RE GOING TO LA BABY!!!! So damn proud of my boy!! Let's do the thing"
McConkey, who won two consecutive national titles with the Bulldogs as a tertiary option, is expected to add depth to an offensive core that boasts franchise quarterback Justin Herbert, running backs Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, wideouts Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston and tight end Hayden Hurst.
That core will be helmed by new head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman, as they look to improve on a division-worst 5-12 record and revisit the playoffs.
