Lions HC Dan Campbell's daughter accepts Commanders defeat in 5 words as Detroit gets crushed in playoffs

Dan Campbell's Detroit Lions were favorites to advance to the 2024 Super Bowl. The Lions not only won the NFC North Divisional title but also locked up the number one seed after going 15-2 last season. However, their hopes and dreams quickly ended on Saturday evening when they lost to the Washington Commanders at Ford Field.

Dan Campbell's daughter Piper, who has over 13,000 followers on TikTok, posted a short video on Monday. The video shows the top of her face with a blue hood up. In the caption, she added that the 2025 NFL season will be the one where the Lions win it all.

In the video caption, Piper Campbell celebrated TikTok's return but mourned the Lions's loss. On Saturday night, the social media platform went dark in the United States during the Detroit Lions game. This was part of a ban scheduled to take place; however, about 12 hours later, the platform returned live to users across the United States.

Dan Campbell spoke to reporters on Monday afternoon during his postseason media availability. Less than 48 hours after the disappointing 31-45 loss, Campbell had accepted the Lions postseason and was ready to move on. He also accepted that he was the one to blame for their loss.

"I’m back on my feet, ready to roll, and I’ve acknowledged, I can look in the mirror and say, ‘You know what, you failed, man. What are you going to do about it?’ So, that’s where we’re at and move forward, man."-Dan Campbell told reporters on Monday

After losing the NFC title game last season after relinquishing a 15-point lead at halftime, the Detroit Lions came into the 2024 NFL season hungrier than ever. Winning 15 games and the division title set them up for postseason success.

The Washington Commanders, led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, were too much for the Lions defense, which had been decimated by injuries throughout the season.
