“List so a*s” – Jalen Ramsey, Quandre Diggs clown viral list of top NFL cornerbacks
Jalen Ramsey and Quandre Diggs are just two of the NFL players that have an issue with the recently released list of top 40 cornerbacks. The list circulated around Twitter late Wednesday evening, with some of the biggest names in the game calling it out.
Corner Jalen Ramsey, who was just traded to the Miami Dolphins, tweeted that the list was 'insane.'
"This is actually insane."
Seattle Seahawks' Quandre Diggs then replied to Ramsey's tweet, essentially saying that he too felt it was ridiculous:
"bro that list so a**."
Philadelphia Eagles corner Darius Slay also retweeted the post and said that the entire list was bad.
"This is all bad!!"
So, who is on the list that has so many of the biggest names in the NFL upset?
Denver Broncos' Patrick Surtain II topped the list after just two NFL seasons. New York Jets' Sauce Gardner, who just finished his rookie season, is second on the list. Jaire Alexander is third with veteran Stephon Gilmore at fourth and Slay rounding out the top five.
Ramsey landed 11th on the list.
Sean McVay told Jalen Ramsey that Mike McDaniel will be 'weirdest' coach he has played for
The Los Angeles Rams made the decision to trade Jalen Ramsey this offseason in exchange for a third-round draft pick and tight end Hunter Long. This allowed the Rams a little bit more salary cap space to make additional moves.
During league meetings this week, Rams coach Sean McVay was asked about his former player fitting in with the Dolphins. McVay said Ramsay told him that McDaniel said that he would be the best head coach that he has ever played for. McVay responded by saying that he doesn't know if he will be the best, but he'll definitely be the weirdest:
“It’s funny. When I talked to Jalen after he had spoken with Mike, Jalen said Mike told him that he’ll be the best head coach that he ever played for. I said, ‘He might be that, but he’ll definitely be the weirdest.’
While it was all just a joke, McVay did say that he knows that his former cornerback will shine under his new head coach as well as new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
