‘Love Island USA’ star Daia McGhee has been at the center of controversy recently. This follows rumors that she allegedly flirted with Odell Beckham Jr.'s brother, Kordell, to get in the good books of the Miami Dolphins wide receiver. However, McGhee made things clear for fans as she told her side of the story on Page Six's podcast on Thursday:
"I was really disappointed that that comment even got brought up, because I feel like, if they fact-checked it, they could have easily saw it was a photoshopped comment. I posted this on my story, so if anyone wants to go look at it, it will be on my highlights.
"If people literally looked at logic just for, like, two seconds here. Do you really think I was going to make out and allegedly dry-hump Kordell to then turn around and be like at the Thanksgiving dinner, when I’m sitting around with his family like, ‘Hey, OBJ, you wanna go in the room?’ Does that really make sense?"

Daia McGhee and Kordell Beckham found a connection during Love Island USA's "Casas Amor" episode from Season 6. In the episode, the couples' connections are tested by separating them and focusing them on turning things up with a new batch of men and women, per PageSix.
During the episode, Kordell took McGhee back to the villa, allegedly leaving his partner, Serena Page, shattered. Several heated conversations reportedly happened between the trio that made McGhee believe Kordell still had feelings for his other connection.
As the trio figured out their connection, they participated in a challenge along with other cast members, which clued them in on people's perception of them in real time. During this segment, McGhee was accused of crushing over Kordell's brother, Odell Beckham Jr., and flirting with him in the wide receiver's Instagram comments.
According to PageSix, upset by the accusations, McGhee dismissed the notion, stating that it was not her reality. Later, Daia McGhee's ex-boyfriend went to dinner with Odell and shared a picture with him on social media. That's the only connection she allegedly has with the wide receiver.
