"Mahomes resurrected your career Tik-Tok boy" - Eagles WR AJ Brown spews venom on JuJu Smith-Schuster over Valentine's Day troll
The Super Bowl has ended, but the trash talk between players on the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles hasn't stopped yet.
One of the NFL memes pages posted a series of Valentine's Day cards with jokes about certain NFL players. One of those cards had a picture of Eagles defensive back James Bradberry with the caption, "I'll hold you when it matters most."
This was in reference to a holding call on Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith Schuster in a crucial moment late in the game that led to the Chiefs' game-winning field goal with seconds left in the game.
On Valentine's Day, Smith-Schuster tweeted a meme saying, "Happy Valentine's Day everybody."
The tweet upset many Eagles fans, but perhaps nobody more than Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown. He responded to a quote tweet from JuJu saying that quarterback Patrick Mahomes revived the "Tik-Tok" boy's career, tweeting:
"First off congratulations. Y’all deserve it .This is lame. You was on the way out the league before mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tik-Tok boy . He admitted that he grabbed you but don’t act like your like that or ever was. But congratulations again!"
Smith-Schuster had the second-most receiving yards of his six-year career this season. He signed with the Chiefs in the offseason on a one-year deal after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He made the Pro Bowl in 2018, but hasn't been that productive the last few seasons.
JuJu Smith-Schuster responds to AJ Brown's Tweet
Following Brown's shot at Smith-Schuster, the Chiefs wide receiver tweeted:
"Glad you were finally able to get all that off your chest after all these years. Good game bro."
The Chiefs edged the Eagles 38-35 in the Super Bowl, so the Chiefs have bragging rights and some of them are starting to brag.
This even caused Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons to chime in about the situation, likely subtweeting Smith-Schuster.
Nevertheless, Smith-Schuster is going to get criticized for kicking Bradberry while he's down after Bradberry did nothing but admit that he held JuJu on that play.
The next time the two teams face off, it could be a high energy game with many personal foul penalties.
