Marlon Humphrey invites Angel Reese to his podcast as WNBA star reveals being Ravens fan

As the Baltimore Ravens continue their training camp, Marlon Humphrey has been particularly active on X/Twitter during the team's preparations for the upcoming season. The cornerback, who also hosts the "Punch Line Podcast" had an interaction with WNBA rookie Angel Reese.

Reese, a Ravens fan, mentioned her support for the team on her social media. The podcast's handle tweeted a response, inviting her on the show.

While she has yet to reply, the podcast has had a long lineup of guests, including Tyreek Hill, D.J. Chark Jr., Robert Griffin III and Matt Judon.

The show often features Madden ratings for cornerbacks and Humphrey's thoughts on various topics. This is a much calmer affair when compared to the controversy involving Humphrey's comments on artistic gymnastics.

What did Marlon Humphrey say about Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles?

After the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles showed sportsmanship by congratulating Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade on her gold medal in the floor exercise, Humphrey made it known that he wasn't a fan.

The floor is Biles' greatest strength and this was the first time since 2015 that she did not win the event. Andrade, who was defeated by Biles during the all-around final, got revenge and won her first Olympic gold medal in 2024 after two silvers and one bronze.

Humphrey, however, inexplicably criticized Biles and Chiles' gesture of respect, calling it "disgusting" in a tweet. The backlash was massive, especially from Brazilian fans, as the rivalry between Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade is one of the most talked about stories in the world of artistic gymnastics. He later acknowledged the fallout:

"I’m lowkey getting cooked right now. I think I’m getting cussed out in Brazilian on Instagram lol"
