Marvin Harrison Jr. lawsuit update: New Fanatics development extends case to Cardinal WR's father

Marvin Harrison Jr. has an ongoing legal case with Fanatics. Shortly after Harrison Jr. signed his rookie contract with the Cardinals, NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport stated Fanatics could not sell Harrison Jr. jerseys due to a contractual dispute.

Fanatics sued Harrison Jr. for breach of contract.

Fanatics is also suing Marvin Harrison Sr. while using Harrison Sr. as a defendant in its lawsuit.

Harrison Jr. claimed he never signed a contract with Fanatics, and that his father signed the "Binding Term Sheet" that created a contract between Fanatics and Harrison Jr.

Fanatics is accusing Harrison Sr. of signing the document in a way that made it seem like his son, Harrison Jr., signed it. As a result, they're accusing the Harrisons of fraud.

Despite his dispute with Fanatics, Marvin Harrison Jr. could be the best wide receiver in this year's draft.

Harrison Jr. was the first receiver selected in this year's draft as the Cardinals selected him with the fourth overall pick. He is listed as their number two wideout.

He was a star at Ohio State before being drafted. The standout tallied 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore and 67 receptions for 1,1211 yards and 14 touchdowns during his senior campaign.

The Cardinals haven't had a 1,000-yard receiver since DeAndre Hopkins in 2020. Harrison Jr. is expected to top the 1,000-yard benchmark for the next several years.

Harrison Jr. joins wideouts Greg Dortch, Zay Jones, Michael Wilson, Chris Moore, and Zach Pascal as the current batch of Arizona pass catchers.
