Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly confess losing special Christmas decor after coming home 'high' from date night with QB

Preparations for Christmas have started in homes worldwide, and Matthew Stafford's house is no excuse. The Rams quarterback and his wife, Kelly, have started decorating their home for Christmas. Talking about the preparations, Kelly confessed to losing an important decor after coming "high" from a date night with the quarterback.

On Thursday's "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly Stafford opened up about how she lost an important Christmas decor upon returning home after her dinner night with Matthew:

"We came home. I was like, gotta move sugar plum. But I was also a little high in meth. You know, Matthew had had some cocktails, I had had some weed. And, you know, we were in a good place. Maybe not to move sugar plum, though. So we get home, we go to bed. (22:41)

I wake up, Sora comes into my room this morning and I'm going, sh*t, sugar plum, like we didn't move her. So I was like, I looked at Matthew. I was like, you stay here. I run downstairs to the spot that she was the day before, and she's not there. I was like either this elf is real and f***ing moved itself, or I moved it, and I don't remember."

Kelly Stafford also shared how she found that decor later inside her house. Matthew had placed it somewhere else, making Kelly think she lost it. Kelly earlier recalled her kids' reaction to Christmas lighting.

Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly explained disciplining kids over 'underwhelmed' reaction to Christmas decorations

Kelly Stafford had hired people to decorate her house for Christmas. So, upon returning home from their family trip to Florida earlier this week, her kids found their house decorated for Christmas. While Stafford had no issues with how the lighting was placed over the property, her kids were least impressed with it. Recalling their reaction and how she ended up schooling them, Stafford said:

"And the first day the kids came home, and Matthew, the kids were very underwhelmed with the Christmas lights. They were like, 'mom, is this it?' And I was like, 'if you don't want it to be it, you are more than welcome to grab a strand of lights and you can just go do it yourself.' And they looked at me like I was crazy.
I said, you know, in the real world, everyone puts their own damn lights up. Mommy did it when I was younger. Daddy did it when he was younger. If he wasn't the Grinch, maybe he was the Grinch when he was younger too. I don't know, but they looked at me like crazy. And Matthew came home and was like, the lights are perfect." (1:17)

On Friday, Kelly Stafford shared a glimpse of her Christmas preparations, which she got her hands on following her return from Florida vacation.
