Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly reveals why she started going to therapy
Los Angeles Rams' star Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly recently opened up about using therapy to work on her "people pleaser" nature.
Kelly Stafford's confession about therapy came in the latest episode of The Morning After Media podcast on Thursday. The influencer revealed how her therapist has helped her set certain boundaries, which proved to be effective in solving her "people pleaser" issue.
“I have trouble setting boundaries, and you know I am a people pleaser. And I have recently sat down and talked to my therapist about this because some things have happened," Kelly said. (22:03)
"She really helped me get these skills to be able to set those boundaries in a way that makes me comfortable because, you know, I don't like to upset people. But she has made it very apparent that I need these boundaries," she concluded.
Kelly Stafford often talks about her personal life on social media and her podcast. Two days before she opened up about using therapy, Kelly revealed her husband Matthew Stafford's ability to diagnose injuries at first glance.
Kelly Stafford revealed how Matthew Stafford diagnosed Jordan Love’s injury at first glance
Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love sprained his MCL during the team's season-opener game against the Philadelphia Eagles. While the details of Love's injury didn't emerge immediately, Matthew Stafford was able to understand it at first glance.
On Tuesday's episode of The Morning After Media podcast, Kelly Stafford discussed how Matthew was able to diagnose Jordan Love's injury beforehand. Talking about the same, she said:
"Matthew can diagnose injuries like no one. When did Jordan Love play? I think he got hurt, and I was telling Matthew about it because he wasn't able. I was like, 'It looked like it was painful. It looked bad with the knee'. And he goes, 'If it was painful like that, my guess is an MCL'. And that as***le was right. He just knows." (2:53)
During the same podcast, Kelly Stafford opened up about the reality behind backtracking on her initial decision to miss the Rams' season-opener against the Detroit Lions.
After losing to the Lions, the Rams are looking forward to facing the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium.
