"Get off that man D**K your QB is mid": Micah Parsons' brother takes aim at Jalen Hurts in heated online dispute
Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons' brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., took an unfiltered shot at Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
It all started with ex-NFL LB turned sports analyst Emmanuel Acho’s post, put out early on December 16, praising the Eagles. Acho wrote:
"After watching the Eagles dismantle another opponent…I’ve realized the Eagles should win every playoff game by double digits en route to the Super Bowl. FlyEaglesFly 🦅.”
To which, Eagles fan and content creator, Lord Brunson questioned Acho’s omission of Eagles QB Hurts in his post. On X, Brunson wrote:
“Not one of your tweets has Jalen Hurts' name in it? He has two 100-yard receivers... threw for 290 and ran for about 50... with 3 TDs... your internet went out? You missed it?”
Enter Terrence Parsons Jr., who reposted the Eagles fan's post and wrote:
“Get off that man D**K your QB is MID.”
Clearly, there's a growing tension as post-season looms. With the Philadelphia Eagles eyeing a Super Bowl run and the Dallas Cowboys with a 0.2% chance at making the playoffs, the rivalry in the NFC is on!
That said, Jalen Hurts’ 2024 NFL season tells a different story.
Jalen Hurts has shown leadership as Eagles stand 12-2
After the 2023 NFL season's achievements and a Pro Bowl selection, Jalen Hurts entered 2024 under a microscope.
In the season opener in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers, Hurts threw for 278 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. In spite of the miscues, he led the Eagles to a win.
In another instance, just a week later, in a narrow loss against the Atlanta Falcons, the Eagles QB scrambled for a two-point conversion to force a tie.
Subsequently, each week brought new challenges but Hurts met them head-on. November 10 was another turning point. During the win over the Cowboys, Hurts scored four touchdowns. Two through the air and two on the ground. As a result, it set the tone for his dual-threat capabilities as a QB.
Clearly, Hurts has become the linchpin of the Eagles' success. Next up, the Eagles will face the Commanders in the upcoming Sunday Night Football.
To secure the top seed, the Eagles must win their remaining games and hope the Lions and Vikings falter in Week 18.
