Michael Rubin reveals why Tom Brady was 'very mad' at Hamptons beach football game

Tom Brady was one of the famous guests at Mike Rubin's Hamptons beach football game. Brady, Rubin, Travis Scott, Odell Beckham Jr., C.J. Stroud, and more participated in the game.

Mike Rubin said that Brady wasn't very pleased during the festivities:

“I think the mistake that happened was Tommy picked me first. That's where we lost 4 to 5. He had myself, he had Travis Scott, Odell and Micah Parsons. The other team had Damar Hamlin and CJ Stroud.

The billionaire continued:

"What I didn’t realize for CJ and Damar is that they're like, 'We’re playing Tom Brady. You guys are having fun? We’re coming to kill.' ... Tom always wants to win at everything he does. The other team was like this is our chance to actually beat Tom Brady. ... He [Tom Brady] was very mad.”

Thankfully, that hitch did not stop the stars from having a great time at the beach. The pictures that were released on social media were pure gold.

What's next for Tom Brady?

Brady is currently preparing for his NFL broadcasting debut with Fox. The seven-time Super Bowl champion debuted in the UFL championship game between the Birmingham Stallions and San Antonio Brahmas.

Brady will make his NFL broadcasting debut in a Week 1 game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns. He'll give his wisdom from the booth as two Pro Bowl-caliber quarterbacks, Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson, take to the field.

According to reports, Brady agreed to a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX in 2022 before returning with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for one more season. He retired after losing a wildcard round game against the Dallas Cowboys in the following season.

Brady's NFL broadcasting debut coming against the Dallas Cowboys is ironic, considering that Prescott and the Cowboys effectively ended his two decades-plus-long NFL career.

Brady will partner with play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt, effectively replacing former lead analyst Greg Olsen. The New England Patriots legend has vocalized his excitement about entering a new role with Fox.
