Michael Vick left shocked by Antonio Brown's digs aimed at Tom Brady's recent divorce: "That was a little disturbing"

Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick was a guest on the Club Shay Shay FOX Sports podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe. Vick talked about his career with Sharpe and the trouble that he found himself in that essentially cost him his career.

Vick also went on to talk about the rejuvenation of his career and the time he spent with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former NFL quarterback told Sharpe that he felt that wide receiver Antonio Brown was a good teammate. He said that sometimes he would get a little annoyed that he didn't get the ball as much as he wanted, but otherwise was a great teammate.

He then went on to say that Brown's recent behavior was disturbing. Particularly after Brady helped him win a Super Bowl ring:

"Yeah, that's right. That was a little disturbing to me too, because I know I know. Him and Tom was on the same and you know I believe in and I believe in friendships, true friendships. And I think they I thought they was creating a bond before them. You know, you put him in a situation where he was able to get a ring. Yes, and shine. And he turned his back on him."

It is inarguable that Brown's actions seem a little cruel and uncalled for, particularly given the lack of any provocation on Brady's part. Brown thinks Brady received preferential treatment at the Buccaneers, however, that hardly warrants this kind of behavior.

What does Michael Vick do now?

Michael Vick retired from the NFL in February 2017. In June 2017, he signed a one-day contract to officially retire with the Atlanta Falcons, the team that drafted him with the first overall pick in 2001.

Since his retirement, he was hired by FOX Sports as an analyst on the FOX NFL Kickoff show every Sunday morning during the season. He did express interest in pursuing a coaching career before being hired by FOX. During 2017 NFL training camp, he interned with Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Even after accepting the FOX Sports job, he was hired by the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football as an offensive coordinator. He then became a consultant for the team.
