Mike Florio reveals how one NFL team could be to blame for Tom Brady's divorce from Gisele Bundchen

NFL headlines over the past week have been dominated by stories revolving around Tom Brady's divorce supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The couple, who got married back in 2009, recently announced their decision to split after months of speculation.

The pair have not disclosed the exact reason for their divorce, but many have speculated that it could be down to Brady's decision to return to football. As a result, he is not able to spend as much time with his family as previously hoped for by Gisele.

NFL insider Mike Florio recently floated a theory that some in league circles believe is the cause behind the couple's divorce. Florio suggested that the quarterback's decision to plot an offseason move to the Miami Dolphins could have led to the relationship turning sour. Here's what he said on the “Pardon My Take" podcast:

“There’s a theory in league circles, and I think I’m couching it properly, that the issues with Tom and his wife blew up when the league announced the punishment of the Dolphins. Because of the flirtation with Brady, because she had, as the theory goes, no idea he was talking to the Dolphins.

Florio backed up his claim, saying that he heard this piece of information straight from the mouth of individuals who are directly employed by NFL teams:

"I’m telling you, there are people who are employed by NFL teams who think that. And when you look at the timeline, that stuff came out, and it was the next day he started missing practices."

Florio, though himself, was not too convinced by this theory and later went on to label it as "reckless speculation."
