Most interceptions in a playoff game: Where does Trevor Lawrence's disaster debut land?

Trevor Lawrence endured a nightmare outing in his first playoff game for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Los Angeles Chargers. He threw four interceptions and no touchdowns.

Going into the two-minute warning in the first half, he could not even lead the team down to field goal range. Thankfully, he threw for one touchdown to end the half, to ensure that the Jaguars did not remain scoreless.

It was as bad as it got in the first half and based on that alone, he moved into the leaderboard for most interceptions in a playoff game. Brett Favre is top of the list with six. Trevor Lawrence already had four in the first half.

It comes as a contrast to Brock Purdy's involvement in four touchdowns for the San Francisco 49ers against the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the day. This really was not a good look for Lawrence. Purdy was the last selection in this year's draft and Trevor Lawrence was the consensus first pick in 2021 Yet, their performances did not show that today.

Brock Purdy, an ill-considered 262th pick, having the game he had tonight and Trevor Lawrence, a hyped up 1st overall pick, having the game he’s having tonight is honestly why the NFL is the greatest sports league.
