New York Jets Draft picks 2023: Full list of Jets selections
The New York Jets headed into the 2023 NFL Draft in high spirits as they were finally able to get Aaron Rodgers out of the Green Bay Packers via trade.
The Jets had a great season last year, but some improvements were still needed to their roster in order to make them Super Bowl contenders. Due to the Aaron Rodgers trade, the Jets had to give up the 13th overall pick, and instead got the 15th overall pick for this year's draft.

New York Jets Draft picks 2023: Round 1
15th pick - Will McDonald IV, Edge, IOWA
The New York Jets drafted Will McDonald IV with the 15th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. McDonald is an edge rusher who played for Iowa in college.
Although McDonald is a great addition to the stacked Jets' defense, the franchise had their sights set on drafting offensive tackle Broderick Jones with their pick. Unfortunately, the New England Patriots, who had the 14th overall pick, traded their pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who ended up drafting Jones. We expect the Jets to strengthen their offensive line in further rounds to help Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets adding Will McDonald IV gives the defense MORE JUICE off the edge. He rushes like he’s hungry and often finds his Happy Meal. He was also a state champion in discus and had a third-place finish in high jump. So remember kids, being a multi-sport athlete is a good thing.

43rd pick - Joe Tippman, Center, Wisconsin
With the 43rd overall pick, the Jets have selected Joe Tippman, who plays center and is from Wisconsin. There were concerns about the Jets' offensive line heading into the draft, and they hope that Tippman will become a contributor for them.
New York Jets Draft picks 2023: Round 4
120th pick, Carter Warren, OT, Pittsburgh
The Jets needed an offensive tackle, and they could have taken one in the first round had the Steelers not traded up. Nevertheless, they got one in the form of Carter Warren, as they aim to protect Aaron Rodgers.
New York Jets Draft picks 2023: Round 5
143rd pick: Israel Abanikanda, RB, Pittsburgh
With the 143rd overall pick, the Jets drafted Israel Abanikanda to pair up with Breece Hall in their backfield. The Jets continue to add more help for Aaron Rodgers in his first season at the franchise.

184th pick: Zaire Barnes, OLB, Western Michigan
204th pick: Jarrick Bernard-Converse, CB, LSU
New York Jets Draft picks 2023: Round 7
220th pick: Zack Kuntz, TE, Old Dominion
With their last pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Jets drafted Zach Kuntz, as they added another weapon for Aaron Rodgers to work with. The franchise did well in this year's draft, and is ready to make progress with their new quarterback.
