NFL analyst claims he's "still not sold" over Dallas Cowboys' Super Bowl odds despite 40-3 demolition of Vikings

The Dallas Cowboys shocked everyone in Week 11 as they destroyed the Minnesota Vikings 40-3. The Vikings came into this game with the joint-best record in the NFL and the Cowboys just blew them away.

Dak Prescott led the Cowboys from the front and had a flawless game. The Dallas defense once again showed why they are one of the best units in the league and didn't let Kirk Cousins do anything in the entire game.

Despite such a dominant win by the Dallas Cowboys, famous NFL analyst Chris Broussard isn't sold on them yet. Here's what Broussard said about the Cowboys on First Things First:

"I said last week coach that they will not reach the Super Bowl. I didn't say they don't have the talent to reach the Super Bowl, but I said somehow, some way they will self sabotage. But no, no, they do have the talent. I think they could be as good or better than any team in NFC."

Broussard continued:

"But I already see things. I don't need to hear Jerry Jones talking about the Superbowl right after the game. I don't need to see DeMarcus Lawrence and Michael Parsons tweeting that OBJ come join us right after the game. All right. And there's football things too."

He added:

"I love the defense against the pass. They didn't solve their run issues yesterday. Dalvin Cook still went for 72 yards on like 11 carries. They just got so far ahead that they had to pass it he only ran three times in the second half. So look, there. They got a great team, but I still am not sold."

The Dallas Cowboys do have a history of failing under pressure and last season was a great example of that. The San Francisco 49ers outplayed them in the NFC Wildcard Game and Dallas were knocked out of Super Bowl contention without winning a single playoff game.

The road ahead for the Dallas Cowboys won't be easy at all. They are unlikely to win the division as the Philadelphia Eagles are running away with it. However, they can make a serious claim to be a Super Bowl contender if they are able to defeat the Eagles on Christmas Day.

Apart from the Eagles, the San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers possess a serious threat to the Cowboys come playoff time. The Dallas Cowboys do have all the essential tools required to reach the Super Bowl, but it will all come down to whether or not they will be able to handle the pressure.
