NFL analyst turns spotlight on Kellen Moore after joining Saquon Barkley to battle against Mike McCarthy’s Cowboys
Former Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions quarterback Kellen Moore joined the Cowboys' rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, this off-season as the team's offensive coordinator. After serving as Dallas' offensive coordinator from 2019–2022, Moore became the Los Angeles Chargers' offensive coordinator last season before joining Philadelphia this off-season.
The Eagles got another big boost this off-season when they signed former New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley in free agency.
Pro Football Talk analyst Chris Simms is looking forward to seeing what the Philadelphia offense can do with Moore in charge.
"They fell apart right. So yeah that's the one I'm most intrigued to see. You know one Kellen Moore running. What's that offense going to look like. Is he going to be more like hey this is what I want to do," Simms said.
"Or is it going to be more like, no, I'm going to do what you know, works for Jalen Hurts and company. I'm excited to see the spin. But regardless, we have high expectations for that offense."

Kellen Moore will be joining his third NFL team as a coach.
Upon returning to the NFC East, Moore said he hopes to learn from Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and thinks the offense can learn a thing or two from his experiences with the Cowboys and Chargers.
“It’s been really, really fun. I love the opportunities that we can sit down and just talk about things," Moore said.
"I learn from Nick [Sirianni]. Hopefully I can bring some things that people can learn hopefully from just maybe an experience that I’ve had that’s different than theirs. I think that’s part of this whole process. We’ve got a really, really good coaching staff here."
The Eagles ranked eighth in total yards last season on offense, 16th in pass offense, eighth in rushing and seventh in scoring offense.
Moore will have weapons such as quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley and wide receivers such as AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.
