NFL fans spam Brandon Aiyuk's girlfriend's TikTok comments with pleas over trade rumors
San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk is currently in talks for a trade. Interestingly, the wide receiver has started to receive trade offers, with the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots being the most recent ones. However, Aiyuk's interest lies with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It was a total surprise for NFL fans, especially the 49ers supporters who were looking forward to seeing Aiyuk perform in the upcoming season. Speculations became stronger when his own teammate, Christian McCaffrey slipped the wide receiver's exit plan.
It's not easy to accept the change, and NFL fans are sharing their pleas over the trade rumors in the comment section of Brandon Aiyuk's girlfriend, Rochelle Searight's post.
Rochelle Searight recently shared a clip of Aiyuk getting his braids done by the painter.
"I’m praying you’re coming to PGH," commented a fan.
"Tell em we need to get that deal done," said another fan.
"Can’t believe bro leaving us," wrote a 49ers fan.
As for the trade speculations, the 49ers reportedly are looking to set an offer with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as it's the team that interests the wide receiver. Even though the Patriots did offer a big paycheck, Aiyuk had shown no interest in the team. Neither did 49ers' NFL fans, who just wanted him to stay signed.
"Tell him sign that contract with da 49ers," commented a fan who doesn't want the wide receiver to leave the 49ers.
"Tell him to not make the same mistake as Devante Adams," said another fan.
"just sign with the niners," wrote a fan.
Steelers HC Mike Tomlin sheds light on Brandon Aiyuk's trade plans
On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was interviewed at 102.5 WDVE Morning Show. During the interview, Tomlin was asked to shed light on Aiyuk-related trade rumors, and the coach responded wittily.
"I'll allow you guys to continue to speculate."
While it is totally Brandon Aiyuk's decision to leave the 49ers for another team, his alleged decision didn't land well with many critics. In fact, Mad Dog Russo even went ahead to call it a "big mistake" by the wide receiver to leave the 49ers.
