NFL icon Drew Brees puts $7,500,000 Montana frame house up for auction: Report
Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has reportedly put his $7.5 million Montana house up for auction. Brees is putting up the house for auction for a fraction of the price it was brought.
According to the Realtor website, the deluxe four-bedroom house has a retail asking price of $7.5 million, but it will go up for auction in the $2 million to $4 million range. Bidding is expected to take place on Sept. 13-26.
The A-frame home measures in at just 1,700 square feet, but the website says it can be expanded. The tree house home was built in 2023 and has stunning views of the 1,400 acres of national forest.
“When my family and I first visited this stunning piece of land, we knew it was a dream property. As dedicated fans of ‘Treehouse Masters’ — and friends of the ‘Treehouse’ team — we were thrilled when they turned our dream into reality by building this one-of-a-kind creation,” Brees told Gimme Shelter.

Brees reportedly now owns his own ranch in Montana, which is why he has put this home up for sale.
Drew Brees is away from football in retirement
Drew Brees retired from the NFL after playing 20 seasons.
Brees tried to stay in the game as he worked as a commentator for NBC but worked there for just one season before leaving.
The quarterback then returned to his alma mater in Purdue as an interim assistant coach for the Boilermakers' Citrus Bowl matchup against LSU.
“I am extremely excited to work with our team over the next few weeks as we prepare for the Citrus Bowl,” Brees said in a statement. “I see it not only as an opportunity to coach and mentor this group of young men, but represent all the former Purdue players that care so much about our program."
However, Purdue was blown out 63-7, and since then, Brees has stepped away from the game of football and has focused on his family.
Drew Brees won Super Bowl XLIV with the Saints and was also named Super Bowl MVP.
