NFL Insider delivers bold Chiefs-Dolphins comparison likely to displease Tyreek Hill

When it comes to speed, players such as Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy come to mind. Everyone knows Hill is one of the most explosive and fastest players in the NFL, that's why his nickname is "Cheetah."

Worthy, however, hasn't played a snap yet in the NFL but is already a threat to opposing defenses, as he broke the 40-yard-dash record at this year's combine. Not only do the Dolphins and Chiefs possess two of the fastest players in the league, but they very well could be looked at as the two-fastest overall teams in the league.

After joining NFL talk show host/analyst Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show, NFL insider Tom Pelissero gave his bold take on which team/WR group he thinks is faster. He thinks if each team took their six-fastest players and ran against each other, the Chiefs would come out on top.

Pelissero said:

"They are so fast. You have so many fast guys on that team. It's not just Xavier Worthy, it is Hollywood Brown, and it's Rashee Rice, and it's Skyy Moore, and it's Mecole Hardman. They have to have the fastest team in the NFL.
"I understand that Miami is a really, really fast team. If you did a one-on-one with your top six, stack it like a tennis tournament, I might say Kansas City can beat Miami if you took the top six from each team."

Hill has always been prideful about being the fastest player and being on the fastest team in the NFL since his arrival.

Speaking with NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, Hill said confidently that he is still the fastest-player in the NFL.

"You want me to set the record straight? The Cheetah is still the fastest, no matter what. All I'm gonna say is, on that race Jaylen jumped the count. It was a false start."

The Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins have two of the fastest teams in the NFL.

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is undeniably one of the fastest players in the NFL. Hill once hit 23.34 miles per hour on a play in 2016 where he returned a kickoff. Last season, he recorded the third-, seventh- and ninth-fastest times for NFL player, topping 21.5 miles per hour on four plays. He ran a 4.24 40-yard-dash at his pro day.

Second-year running back De'Von Achane ran a 4.32 40-yard dash and averaged 7.8 yards per carry last season on over 100 rushing attempts. Speaking of running backs, Dolphins' Raheem Mostert had two very fast plays during the 2020 season where he hit 22.73 and 23.09 mph.

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy broke John Ross' 40-yard-dash time, clocking in a 4.21 40-time. He will be paired with Hollywood Brown (4.27 40-yard dash at pro day), Skyy Moore (4.41) and Rashee Rice (4.51.)
