NFL insider highlights how Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance is benefitting the league
Ever since Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift, there has been a legion of new NFL fans. The majority of the new fans are loyal "Swifties" who had never watched or were a fan of the National Football League and now do so to get a glimpse of Swift and support her boyfriend.
NFL Network's NFL Insider, Ian Rapoport, believes that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship is good for the sport. In an interview with ClutchPoints, he spoke about the influence the Grammy winner has in bringing new fans to watch the game.
In terms of the Christmas games on Netflix, Ian Rapoport said that non-NFL supporters could tune in simply to see if she is there and end up loving the action of the game and watching until the end:
“One thing about Taylor Swift is she has opened the door to so many young girls, and not just young girls, but fans of hers who weren't previously fans of football to turn on a game.
"So whether or not an 8-year-old girl or a 20-year-old man or whoever is turning on Netflix to say, like, ‘Hey, I wonder if Taylor's gonna be there.' Come for Taylor, stay for football. That's good; I'm all for it. I think it's been great.”
Ian Rapoport stressed that whatever it takes to bring new fans and interest to the National Football League, he is all for it and right now that revolves around Taylor Swift.
Could Taylor Swift make her debut on Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast?

An episode of the podcast will air on Jan. 2 and Jason and Travis Kelce announced that a "very special guest" would join them. After saying that listeners have 'demanded' this person's appearance on the podcast for a long time, everyone jumped to conclusions that it has to be Taylor Swift.
