NFL insider lets fly against 'narcissistic' $112,500,000 Jets QB-"Aaron Rodgers is a con artist"
Aaron Rodgers' football future remains uncertain as the New York Jets inch closer to the postseason. Whether the 41-year-old quarterback will return to the Jets, decide to retire, or play elsewhere in 2025 are all unanswered questions at this point.
ESPN's NFL Insider Dan Graziano shared his thoughts on ESPN's "Unsportsmanlike" about Rodgers and didn't hold back on what he thinks about the quarterback. The former NFL MVP is currently in the midst of a three-year, $112,500,000 contract with the New York Jets. Graziano said though that the Jets know exactly what type of person and player Rodgers is and that should be enough to part ways with him.
Graziano then went on to give his thoughts on Aaron Rodgers:
"Aaron Rodgers is a con artist. He is a narcissist. He is self-absorbed to the absolute maximum. And if he has you fooled -- again -- that's on you," Dan Graziano said.
Dan Graziano continued by saying that other NFL teams that may still believe in Rodgers should be warned of whom he really is. He added that if another team still signs him, then that is their issue to deal with.
Aaron Rodgers plans to 'evaluate' his NFL future during the offseason
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers announces every year that he will take time to think about his NFL future when the season ends. Sometimes he goes on vacation, other times he partakes in a "darkness retreat" at Sky Cave Dark Retreats in Oregon to truly discover what he wants.
Rodgers and the New York Jets have three games remaining on the schedule and then Rodgers will ponder his future. On Wednesday, The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt reported the quarterback hinted that he knows the Jets may make the decision for him.
"I'm going to take some time after the year -- unless I get released right away -- but I'll still take some time whether or not I want to play," Rodgers said.
The quarterback said that whether the New York Jets release him or not, he will still take the time to decide if he has a future in the NFL. The quarterback then joked that he would love to stay in the New York/New Jersey area as he recently remodeled his home.
