NFL Rumors: Fox makes decision on which game Tom Brady will call in Week 3 after Saints' 44-19 thrashing of Cowboys

Tom Brady has started his newest role in pro football. The seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback is back in the thick of the action as a broadcaster for Fox. After two weeks of calling Dallas Cowboys games, Brady’s third assignment might also be with Dallas.

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys lost 44-19 against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, which was the first game of the season AT&T Stadium. Brady was on the call for the Cowboys victory in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. The NFL icon and his booth partner Kevin Burkhardt might have to stay in Dallas for one more week.

Jimmy Trania of Sports Illustrated took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to post a report stating that Brady’s third game as a broadcaster will once again be with the Cowboys. Trania also said that after this trio of Cowboys’ games, Tom Brady will not call the Week 4 game between Dallas and the New York Giants.

“Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt are expected to be on the call for Sunday's Ravens-Cowboys game. It will be Brady's third Dallas game in a row."
"Brady won't call the Cowboys in Week 4, though, with Dallas playing the Giants on Amazon's Thursday Night Football.”

The Cowboys will take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Week 3 game at home on September 22. In Week 4, Dalls will be in New York to face the Giants. Fox Sports has not yet announced the broadcast team lineup for Week 3.

Will Tom Brady call a Patriots game this season?

Fox Sports has a $375 million deal with Tom Brady for 10 years. At that time, it was expected that Brady would be going back to Foxborough to call a Patriots game. However, some X users are speculating that the 15-time Pro Bowler will be back at his old hunting ground for New England's Week 5 game against the Dolphins:

“Brady is in Foxborough for Week 5 to call the Dolphins at Patriots. It has already been announced.”

There have not been any announcements regarding Brady’s schedule for Week 5. However, the Patriots have only one home game that will be aired on Fox. After playing 20 seasons in a legendary career with the New England Patriots, it is expected that Fox will want Brady to call this game.
