NFL star humbles LeBron James over the NBA star's chances of making it big in football- "You would’ve got scrapped"
LeBron James and the rest of the crew of "The Shop" conducted their first watch party of an NFL game as they sat down and watched the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Tennessee Titans.
Similar to the Manning Cast, they will also be covering all the Thursday Night Football games going forward. In the first episode, Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Jalen Rasmey was also present.
LeBron talked about how he still wishes to play football and that he would be a dangerous receiver in the Red Zone due to his height. Jalen Ramsey didn't have any of it and replied to James in his own way.
Speaking about LeBron James, Jalen Ramsey said this:
"LeBron has no chance; I ain’t gonna lie to you, Bron, they be saying you a red-zone threat? Bron you would’ve got scrapped.”
Jalen Ramsey was later asked by Paul Rivera whether he could jump higher enough to stop the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, to which Ramsey replied,
"I ain’t ever been Mossed in my career! Mossed like over my head? No, not like that! Bron wouldn’t have did that to me! LeBron you wouldn’t have Mossed me.”
After listening to what Jalen Ramsey said, King James had his own befitting reply. He said,
“I would have Mossed you”
"Mossed" is a term famously dedicated to when a receiver catches the ball over cornerbacks, and LeBron's height would have absolutely given him the advantage to get the better of Jalen Ramsey.
It was a fascinating segment of Thursday Night Football, where LeBron James, Jalen Ramsey, Jamie Foxx, Paul Rivera and Maverick Carter gave many great moments for the fans to enjoy along with the Packers-Titans NFL game.
LeBron James highlighted the struggles of the Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers lost to the Tennessee Titans on Thursday and LeBron highlighted their issues. He took the side of Aaron Rodgers and claimed the franchise hasn't surrounded him with the right talent. Here's what LeBron said:
“If you have a transcendent franchise player like Aaron Rodgers why won’t you surround that when you got the picks to maximize what you do”
LeBron's situation with the Lakers has been pretty much similar to Rodgers' situation and maybe the 4x NBA Champ was trying to make a point about Lakers GM Rob Pelinka not making moves to help the team.
