NFL Trade Rumors: Rob Gronkowski predicts where Aaron Rodgers will play in 2023
Where will Aaron Rodgers play in 2023? There is a growing sense around the league that the New York Jets are favorites to land Rodgers.
The Jets were given permission yesterday by the Packers to let him speak with the Jets, and the team took a private plane to fly out and meet with him.
Appearing on "Up & Adams," hosted by Kay Adams, former tight end Rob Gronkowski shared where he thinks Aaron Rodgers will end up. He thinks Rodgers will end up a member of the New York Jets.
Gronkowski said:
"I think he's gonna end up as a New York Jet. I feel like the owners that at the Jets organization, just the whole entire organization, they're ready to win and they're ready to win now and what better play then go and get the best quarterback in the NFL right now? Or at least top three quarterback in the NFL.
"And go and get Aaron Rodgers you know, right in the prime of and get them right in the mix and just put, you know, the Jets as a playoff team right from the very beginning."
Gronk added that he thinks the Jets would make the playoffs and have a bit of a culture change with Rodgers being there:
"I think he definitely will reach the playoffs with the Jets will definitely change the culture there. I feel like every player will feel like you know, their winning team run away, even though they haven't been to the playoffs in many years. But I think he'll just change it just like that overnight."
The Green Bay Packers are ready to move on from Aaron Rodgers and ready to move forward with Jordan Love
The Green Bay Packers drafted quarterback Jordan Love with their first-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
They drafted him with the intention of eventually being the starting quarterback for their team, and that seems like now. In the midst of Aaron Rodgers being traded or retiring, the team is likely to start Love at quarterback this season.
In his three-year career in the NFL, he's received minimal playing time. He's completed 50 out of 83 passes for three touchdowns and three interceptions.
Love will likely head into the season as the starter and will finally get his chance to become the Packers' franchise quarterback.
