Nigel Bradham arrested: Ex-Eagles LB in legal trouble while driving with kids in backseat

Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham found himself in legal trouble once again. Bradham was pulled over by police in Tallahassee, Florida, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, after he was clocked going 78 mph in a 55 mph zone with his two children in the backseat of his vehicle, as per the New York Post.

Bradham told police that he was driving on a suspended license and he also had an outstanding warrant out of Leon County, Florida for possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to a local jail, where he was charged with one count of felony of driving with a suspended license.

Nigel Bradham's legal woes date back to 2013

This arrest wasn't the first time Nigel Bradham has had legal trouble. The former NFL linebacker, who won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018, has legal issues dating back to 2013.

While in Tonawanda, New York, Bradham received a ticket for possession of marijuana. The charges were dropped as long as Bradham didn't have any other run-ins with the law for a six-month period.

In July 2016, Bradham was arrested and charged with a second-degree felony of aggravated assault with injury. He reportedly assaulted a worker at the Hilton Beverly in Miami, Florida, as they were setting up a beach cabana for his party.

Just a few months later, in October 2016, Bradham was arrested at Miami International Airport after he was found to have a loaded firearm in his possession.

In November 2021, Nigel Bradham was pulled over while driving his Chevrolet Corvette. After searching his vehicle, police reportedly found three pounds of marijuana and multiple firearms. He was released on bail the next day and received 30 days of probation.

Nigel Bradham played college football at Florida State University from 2008 until 2011. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In Mar. 2016, he signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles worth $7 million. In Mar. 2018, he signed a five-year extension with the Eagles worth $40 million, including $14 million in guaranteed money.

The Eagles parted ways with Bradham after the 2019 NFL season. He spent time with the New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL season but hasn't played in the NFL since.

During his NFL career, Bradham played in 115 games, starting 96 of those games, accumulating 619 tackles, five fumbles, three interceptions and two touchdowns.
