Noah Lyles brushes off Tyreek Hill after Dolphins WR's challenge: "What’s the cheetah guy from football?"
Tyreek Hill is one of the fastest players in the NFL, while Noah Lyles is the fastest 100-meter sprinter in the world. The two have been going back and forth with one another in the media lately.
Lyles was interviewed by CBS Sports and asked about Hill. He seemed to have forgotten what Hill's name was, as he kept referring to him as the cheetah guy from football, asking those around him what Hill's name was.
"Ummm, what's that's guy, what's the cheetah guy from football? Well, I can't remember his name. Mark! What's the football player who thinks he's fast name? Tyreek Hill," Lyles said.
This comes in response to Hill's comments from earlier this week, saying he would beat Lyles in a race. Hill was on the "Up & Adams Show," hosted by Kay Adams, who asked what he thought about Lyles saying Super Bowl champions aren't world champions.
That caused Hill to question why Lyles would say that in the first place, with him saying he'd beat Lyles in a race.
"Noah Lyles can't say nothing after what's just happened to him, then he wants to come out and pretend he's sick ... just speak on what you know about, and that's track. I would beat Noah Lyles. I wouldn't beat him by a lot, but I'd beat Noah Lyles," Hill said earlier this week.
