"Nobody loves Gronk more than me" - Tom Brady breaks silence on Rob Gronkowski's unretirement reports

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are attached to the hip. They are inarguably the greatest quarterback-tight end duo in NFL history and won four rings as teammates during their time together in New England and Tampa.

This is one of the coolest graphics i’ve seen.

Gronkowski announced his retirement from the NFL in 2019 after winning the Super Bowl for the third time with the New England Patriots. But he returned a year later to play alongside Brady for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The legendary tight end spent two seasons with the Buccaneers and won another ring before riding into the sunset again. Gronkowski continued to tease a return to the NFL and was contacted by two teams who wanted to know if he intended to return to the league.

During his weekly appearance on the Let's Go! podcast, Brady was asked about Gronkowski's potential return and whether a reunion was on the cards in Tampa or elsewhere in 2023. He responded:

"I love that nobody loves Gronk more than me other than probably his mom and dad and brothers but he's like family to me. He's kind of like one of my kids actually. So every now and then I got to put him in timeout for misbehaving, you know for eating paste and stuff like that. You know, whatever he ever decides. I'm sure I'll be fully supportive."

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to team up again in 2023?

As Tom Brady explained, his relationship with Rob Gronkowski goes beyond the field. The two have been great friends for a decade, and it's unfathomable that the tight end would return to the NFL and not team up with his former quarterback.

Brady's status for 2023 is still up in the air, but if he decides to continue his already unmatched career and Gronkowski ends his hiatus, expect the duo to team up. Whether that will be in Tampa, New England, or elsewhere, wherever Brady goes, Rob Gronkowski will follow him if he returns to the NFL for a second time.
