“Not everything is meant to be mended" - Tom Brady's ex Bridget Moynahan shares cryptic post amid rumors of his split with Gisele Bundchen
As Tom Brady's struggles on the field continue, his personal life has also continued to take hits this year. Brady and his wife, model Gisele Bundchen, could be headed for divorce. The two have apparently been living in separate homes, splitting time with their two children. They've also both been seen without their wedding rings.
The 45-year-old quarterback's ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, posted an ominous quote to her Twitter page this weekend. Brady and Moynahan are co-parent their 15-year-old son Jack.
The quote was by Vienna Pharaon, a marriage therapist, and was about the reality of a breakup. The quote states that, sometimes, not all relationships are meant to be and that one has to appreciate the gifts that come from the relationship ending. Essentially this is saying that not all marital issues can be fixed and will end no matter how hard one tries.
“Not everything is meant to be mended. Not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Sometimes we have to learn to get comfortable with the gifts that are offered through the ruptures and the endings instead of the stories of repair and reconciliation.”
There wasn't an additional caption to the Tweet which now has many wondering about the context or backstory to the post. Was it aimed at Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's marital issues or something else? Moynahan has not made a public statement about the realationship status of her son's father.
The actress has been married to Andrew Frankel since October 2015.
Can Tom Brady and the Bucs turn things around this season?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be off-kilter this season. After a shocking 21-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Bucs are now 3-4 after the first seven weeks of the season. It's the first time in 20 years that Tom Brady has had an under .500 record through the first seven games.
The Bucs offense was unrecognizable on Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium. Wide receiver Mike Evans bobbled and eventually dropped on a wide open pass, just yards from the end zone.
The Bucs went just two of 12 on third downs and had just 322 total offensive yards. For a Tom Brady-led offense to be unable to get in the end zone is shocking, not to mention, the team scored just one touchdown last week in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
One bright side for the Buccaneers is that they are still in play for the NFC South division lead. They are currently tied with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Buccaneers will have just a short week to prepare for a Thursday night matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, back at home at Raymond James Stadium.
