
Odell Beckham Jr drops clear verdict on Lil Wayne's new album 'Tha Carter VI'
Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. gave his take on Lil Wayne's latest album "Tha Carter VI." Beckham shared on X on Sunday that he had listened to it.
He felt that Lil Wayne was so talented that he made the new album look "too easy." It detailed the crossroads Lil Wayne is at in his career, and could be a precursor as to what type of album he will make next.
"Tunechi....too kold lol that Shxt too easyyy .. Bein My$elf," Beckham tweeted.
The connection between the wide receiver and rapper dates back to 2018. The two were interviewed by Josina Anderson and was seen as the beginning of the end of Beckham's tenure with the Giants. He made insinuations that he wanted out of New York, and he was eventually traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019.

AfterOdell Beckham Jr</a>. was traded to the Cleveland Browns, it was assumed the wide receiver was ready for a change of scenery. However, he recently revealed that wasn't the case.
In an interview with CBS Sports, Beckham said that he didn't want to leave the Giants, as he was looking forward to winning a Super Bowl.
“I never wanted to leave the Giants," Beckham said on June 1. "If the Giants won the Super Bowl I’d be happy but deep down I wanted to be the one to bring another one.”
Beckham spent three seasons with the Browns before being released after a tumultuous end to his tenure with the franchise. He then signed with the LA Rams towards the end of the 2021 regular season and won his first Super Bowl.
In 2023, Beckham played for the Baltimore Ravens, and the 2024 NFL season with the Miami Dolphins. He remains a free agent after being released by the Dolphins in December.
