Odell Beckham Jr. drops UFC 287 prediction ahead of Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira showdown - “You know what time it is”
Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is well known for his interest in multiple sports apart from the NFL, as he is usually seen at various big events. Ahead of the UFC 287 showdown between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, OBJ has revealed who he is rooting for.
Unsurprisingly, the Super Bowl-winning WR is rooting for Adesanya to reclaim his title from Pereira. He also sent a pre-fight message to 'The Last Stylebender'. Here's what OBJ said:
"Izzy, I don't even think much need to be said bro, you know what time it is man, it's time to get it man... and the new, really the still, you feel me, go get your sh*t baby bro, love."
Alex Pereira won the UFC Middleweight Championship after defeating Adesanya in their last fight and it came as a shock to many. While Pereira has certainly had his fair share of dominance over Izzy throughout his career, the latter dominated the majority of their last encounter.
This is arguably the biggest fight of Israel Adesanya's career, and hopefully, he will be able to perform at his best. UFC 287 will be in Miami, and we can expect Odell Beckham Jr. to be present there and root for Adesanya.
Odell Beckham Jr. is still a subject of interest to multiple teams
Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent and could soon sign with a new team. It's expected that OBJ won't get the deal that he initially thought he would have got, but there are still multiple teams who are interested in him.
As of now, the New York Jets are seen as the favorites to land Beckham Jr., but the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs are also in the mix to get him.
It will be interesting to see what kind of a deal OBJ ends up signing, as there has been a lot of chatter around it. So far, the former Los Angeles Rams receiver has shut down all reports of his alleged asking price, which is why nobody knows what it will cost to get him.
