Odell Beckham Jr. makes stunning revelation, claims Rams doctor knew his ACL was busted before signing for Super Bowl run

Odell Beckham Jr. is almost ready to step back on the field after recovering from the injury that he sustained in last season's Super Bowl.

Recent reports have indicated that the former Rams receiver was aware of the danger he had put himself in as he wasn't 100% ready to go when he signed with the Rams.

OBJ has stated that he risked his body playing last season, which resulted in him getting his respect back in the league. Although he hasn't played since the Super Bowl, there are multiple teams that are more than eager to bring him on board.

In an interview with Complex Sports, OBJ had this to say about the time he signed with the Los Angeles Rams:

“When I first signed with the Rams, we did an MRI and it took me like eight hours to sign because [the team doctor] was like, 'You don’t have an ACL'.”

OBJ added:

“I told him I would die on the sword, so each week, it was an ongoing thing.”

It is highly unlikely that OBJ will be able to play this season. Had that been the case, he would have already been signed by a team. The common expectation around the league is that Odell Beckham Jr. will sign with a team in the offseason and will likely get a decent contract as well.

OBJ had continuously stated that he might be ready to play in the playoffs, but teams aren't risking signing him because of the uncertainty around his health.

Last season, Beckham showed everyone that he is still an elite receiver and can help any team get over the hump. Due to this, interest in him remains high with many contending teams keeping tabs on him. It will be interesting to see where he ultimately ends up.
