Packers veteran Jaire Alexander deletes social media post taunting Trevor Lawrence after 30-27 win

Jaire Alexander is rubbing salt on Trevor Lawrence's wounds. Alexander and the Green Bay Packers defeated Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27 on Sunday to improve 6-2, while the Jaguars fell to 2-6.

But for Alexander, defeating the Jaguars wasn't enough. He took to Instagram to post a series of pictures from the game. In one of them, Alexander was looking at Lawrence, with the Jaguars QB smiling at him.

Alexander tagged Lawrence as "lilbro" on the post, which the user @nileriverx2 posted a screenshot of.

However, @lilbro is not an active or a real Instagram account. The account just has one picture of a close-up of a man's face that was posted way back on August 5, 2011.

Jaire Alexander deleted the post later without any explanation.

Alexander is known as a big-time trash talker, and Jaguars players were asked by reporters ahead of the game how they would handle it.

Rookie wideout Brian Thomas Jr. said that his trash-talking and mind games wouldn't affect him.

“I mean, it don’t really matter to me,” Thomas said. “It is what it is. If you talk, keep it football.” (H/T jacksonville.com)

Wideout Gabe Davis said that Alexander was a "guy that talks a little bit more than usual", but added that it won't throw him off his game and he would answer his trash talk with his plays.

However, Alexander and the Packers got the better of the Jaguars' offense, which was limited to 1-of-9 on 3rd downs. Alexander had one tackle and two passes defended in the game. Lawrence had 308 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.

Jaire Alexander and Stefon Diggs got into pre-game scuffle in Week 7

Alexander also got into it in their last game against the Houston Texans. Minutes ahead of kick-off, Jaire Alexander was seen verbally arguing with Keison Mixon and Stefon Diggs. After that, more Packers poured in and Diggs was physically separated by the referees.

However, it's unclear why they were fighting in the first place. The Packers had the last laugh that day as they defeated the Texans, 24-22. And Stefon Diggs later injured himself in another game and is currently on the IR.
