"We can't wait" - Pat McAfee shares adorable snippet about wife's pregnancy
Pat McAfee and his wife Samantha are eagerly waiting for their baby girl to be born. From gender reveals to elaborate baby showers, the McAfees have covered all bases as they share their journey with their followers.
In a Thanksgiving post last year, McAfee and Samantha revealed that they would be having a baby girl, sharing the celebration with everyone who follows them. As the due date nears, McAfee has been sharing more snippets from their life online.
In a recent update, the 35-year-old shared details in what was an ultrasound update.
"@mrsmcafeeshow and I got to see our baby girl this morning. Sam's kicking so much a**. WE CAN'T WAIT to meet her," McAfee wrote.
Samantha shared her husband's story, adding a sweet pink heart in response.
Earlier, Samantha posted a clip and some photos from her baby shower, which she described as 'perfect':
"I had a perfect baby shower last weekend. Baby McAfee was surrounded by so much love. We can not wait to meet her. I just wanted to say thank you to all my ladies."
The gender reveal, on the other hand, was a surprise for all of their guests. The couple burst a few party confetti, their dogs accompanying them for the moment.
Pat McAfee and Samantha had previously lost two pregnancies
While announcing her pregnancy last year, Pat McAfee's wife revealed the struggles they have had to face in their journey towards parenthood:
"After about 150 shots, a surgery, a transfer, countless blood tests, waiting on embryos, genetic testing, hoping for a big fat positive on a pee stick. So much support from family & close friends. We are beyond happy & blessed to announce our double rainbow baby!"
Samantha explained how they dealt with internal bleeding, and how she almost lost her life to the same. After losing both her Fallopian tubes, Samantha and McAfee chose IVF.
Can Pat McAfee return to WrestleMania 39?
Before WrestleMania 39 this weekend, CEO Nick Khan put an end to all chances of McAfee making a return on the big stage. He was speaking on the Marchand & Ourand Sports Media Podcast:
"We have no plans to have him there this weekend. The world is his oyster. He's 36 years old. Look at his relevancy factor when you talk to young children."
He added:
"He's looking to have good content and his content has been terrific. He'll determine, ultimately, where he wants his home to be."
