Patrick Mahomes breaks silence on “frustrating” home burglary

Kansas City Chiefs star, Patrick Mahomes' house, located on an 8-acre property in Belton, which was also featured on Netflix's "Quaterback," was broken into by robbers on October 6 around midnight.

Following widespread coverage of the burglary by the New York Post, Mahomes has spoken out about the incident at the property where he lives with his wife, Brittany, their two children, Sterling and Bronze, and their dogs, Steel and Silver.

As reported by Marleah Campbell, Sports Reporter/Anchor at KCTV5, Patrick Mahomes addressed the press on Wednesday, calling the attempted theft “frustrating” and “disappointing."

In a separate report by the New York Post, Mahomes commented on the robbery and added:

"Obviously something that you don’t want to have happen to really anybody, but obviously yourself.”

That's all he had to say and he refrained from offering further details--citing about the ongoing investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Well, Patrick was not the only Kansas City Chiefs star, who was targetted.

Patrick Mahomes' reliable TE Travis Kelce has been robbed of $20000

Mahomes' teammate and close friend, Travis Kelce, also had his Leawood residence broken into. Kelce purchased the house last year to protect his privacy from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. What's particularly shocking is that the break-in happened a day after the Mahomes' incident. The break-in at Kelce's house happened on October 7 around 7:33 pm (per the NY Post).

Unlike Mahomes, from Kelce's home, $20000 in cash was missing and backdoor of the gated home was damaged.

However, it is still not clear if the burglaries have been attempted by the same group/person.

In both cases, the FBI has now stepped up to help the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Leawood Police Department.
