Patrick Mahomes' mother Randi reveals who she's voting for between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris - "Let's do it!"
Patrick Mahomes' mother, Randi, turned up to watch her son play on Monday Night Football and revealed who, between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, she is supporting. In a video shared by Outkick, she is seen wearing a hoodie supporting the Chiefs from a suite in the Arrowhead Stadium.
In addition to that, she is more pertinently seen wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, which is the signature paraphernalia of anyone supporting Donald Trump. To leave us in no doubt that she is not choosing Kamala Harris in the Presidential Election tomorrow, she says in the video,
“Make America great again, let’s do it!”
Patrick Mahomes' mother Randi aligns with daughter-in-law by choosing Donald Trump over Kamala Harris
Randi Mahomes has made it explicit who she will be voting for in the upcoming Presidential election. That possibly aligns her with her daughter-in-law, Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany Mahomes, who has indicated that she is leaning towards supporting Donald Trump over Kamala Harris.
She had liked a post that noted the former President's platform and a backlash had followed. She had also addressed the hate she had received for her troubles. Since then there has been silence from her regarding her political affiliations.
Even though Rani Mahomes might find support from her daughter-in-law, that puts her on the opposite side of the political spectrum from Taylor Swift, her son's best friend's partner. Travis Kelce's girlfriend has endorsed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
The superstar, though, is an exception among those related to Chiefs who have come out in support of Donald Trump. Another Kansas City player, kicker Harrison Butker, has thrown his support to the 45th President and against Kamala Harris citing his pro-life views on abortion.
The state of so many closely associated people supporting different candidates reflects the reality of America at the moment. Patrick Mahomes, as the face of the Chiefs, has been careful in not supporting anyone openly. He has said,
“I don't want my place and platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way. I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote... It's to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”
That has not stopped his mother, Randi, from weighing in. She wants the former President to return to the White House while hoping that the incumbent Vice President loses.
