Patrick Mahomes' mother Randi shares 'best' family photo ahead of Chiefs' Christmas clash vs Steelers

Patrick Mahomes and his family are all set for the festive season. They have been gearing up for Christmas, with Patrick and the Kansas City Chiefs set for a Christmas Day clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Mahomes' wife Brittany continues to share regular updates about the family on social media, the QB's mother Randi is just as active on Instagram.

Always ready to hype her son, Randi also added a few snaps featuring the family. In fact, Randi shared an image on Monday that she labeled 'the best' photo for her.

"Besides Sterling and I not being in photo this is my best family photo...lol," Randi wrote in her caption.

Most likely taken from Randi's own camera, the photo featured most of the family: Patrick Mahomes, Brittany, Jackson Mahomes, son Bronze and the QB's sister Mia.

Mahomes was carrying Bronze, while everyone in the photo was doing a random activity.

Randi has been consistent in sharing family updates, including a glimpse into their family Thanksgiving.

Patrick Mahomes' mother is proud of her son's decision to retire when need be

Along with focusing on his own life, Patrick Mahomes also has to deal with the spotlight on his family. His mon Randi, along with brother Jackson and wife Brittany, are known to speak up about the QB and football.

During an appearance on the Mom Game podcast this year, Randi spoke about how she's proud of Mahomes' decision to possibly retire early. The three-time NFL champion might not play as long as Tom Brady and decide to dedicate his time to his family.

“I hear him, you know, make comments like, 'If the game takes away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady' and I'm like I'm so proud of him for that," she said. [24:42].

Randi's comments were a response to Mahomes' speaking to TIME, explaining how he could quit football to prioritize his loved ones.

With the 2024 NFL season heading toward playoffs, Mahomes is preparing to lead Kansas City to an unprecedented three-peat. The Chiefs, with a 14-1 record, have already qualified for the postseason and are on course to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
