Patrick Mahomes reveals who came up with newborn son’s name as Chiefs QB celebrates with wife Brittany

Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, welcomed their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, to the world on November 28th, 2022. The couple were expecting their second child sometime midseason, with fans waiting impatiently. While they are yet to do a face reveal, everyone from fans to family have been sending in their good wishes.

Along with the adorable messages shared, fans were also curious about the baby's name 'Bronze'. Though Patrick Mahomes III could have been a part of their tradition and legacy, the nickname 'Bronze' seemed extremely different.

In fact, the baby's clothes were all brown, and chunky diamond jewelry with the letters 'bronze' featured in the photo.

Patrick Mahomes says he knew he wanted his sons name to be Patrick Lavon Mahomes III since he was 5 years old.

Added his brother Jackson was the one who suggested “Bronze”.

As per recent reports, Mahomes revealed that he wanted his son's name to he Patrick Lavon Mahomes III from the time he was just five. However, it was his younger brother Jackson who ended up suggesting the name.

Brittany retweeted the news, more or less confirming Patrick Mahomes' words. While Jackson is yet to post about his new nephew on social media, the younger Mahomes has been there for every milestone by the Kansas City Chiefs star.

Furthermore, Jackson is usually present on the field alongside Brittany and little Sterling, who will turn two years old soon. Their family has always cheered on Mahomes, who is just as supportive of his loved ones.

Even Kansas City is congratulating Brittany and Patrick Mahomes

To congratulate the happy couple, Kansas City's landmark Union Station lit up in blue colors. They shared the photo on Twitter, happy to celebrate a new member joining the Mahomes family.
