Patrick Mahomes set to star in new Netflix series providing unprecedented behind the scenes to NFL stars
Netflix announced a docuseries on Wednesday that will feature the season through the eyes of NFL quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.
Mahomes responded to the announcement on Twitter and said he can't wait for everyone to see it.
Per Hollywoodreporter.org, the film will be produced by Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions and Mahomes' newly formed 2PM Productions with NFL Films.
Per the website:
"Omaha Productions, the company headed by NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, and Mahomes’ newly formed 2PM Productions will produce the series with NFL Films."

The film features Mahomes' Super Bowl- and MVP-winning season, Cousins' successful season with the Minnesota Vikings that saw an upset in the first round of the playoffs and Mariota getting benched towards the end of the season with the Atlanta Falcons.
The series will showcase their lives on and off the field. All three quarterbacks were mic'd up in every game that they played.
Mahomes himself chimed in on the matter and had this to say:
"I'm excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family," said Mahomes, whose company, 2PM Productions, will help produce the series. "From welcoming home a new baby in the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi Trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all. This new Netflix series will show the time, preparation and balance that it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage."
The series will air in the summer and is on a one-year deal. It is expected to continue next year with different quarterbacks.
