Patrick Mahomes' toughest NFL Combine question isn't what you'd expect it to be
The NFL Combine has been relevant for teams and how they get to know a player. Usually, the Combine might affect how and when the player gets drafted.
Of course, while it is an elaborate event, it isn't an easy affair to get through. This includes Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes.
After six seasons in the NFL, Mahomes has already bagged two Super Bowl wins. With his skill set and consistently good performance, one can guarantee a Hall of Fame career. However, Mahomes was just as eager and expectant during the 2017 NFL Combine.
While speaking to the press, Mahomes spoke about his experience in general and also discussed the toughest questions asked to him.
Apparently, Mahomes was asked if he thought of himself as a cat or a dog.
"Toughest question I've gotten is 'Do you wish to consider yourself a cat or a dog?'," Mahomes said. "I chose dog. Got that fiery dog mentality on the field".
Considering his overall inclination towards dogs and his increasing loyalty to the Chiefs, Mahomes' reply was expected. The QB went on to talk about the NFL Combine in general, and how he only wanted to get better as a player.

Patrick Mahomes is back the lab days his Super Bowl win
Earlier this month, the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to secure their Super Bowl win. Though he has been enjoying some downtime with his wife Brittany and their children, Sterling and Bronze, Mahomes is already back in the lab and ready to workout.

As per Bobby Stroupe (also the account Arrowhead Live), a Health, Performance & Player development consultant, Mahomes has already started to work during his offseason. Stroupe shared a video through his social media, where Mahomes is working with him at Apec Fort Worth.

That being said, Mahomes has come a long way since 2017. Since his rookie season, Mahomes has had three Super Bowl appearances already. However, his journey in the NFL began with the NFL Combine.
This year's Combine is scheduled from Tuesday, February 28th to Monday, March 6.
