Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany has one-word response to husband's plans of playing COD with teammates during bye week
Patrick Mahomes has emerged as one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL. With his elite passing and athleticism, the Kansas City Chiefs QB is on track to potentially break multiple league records in the years to come.
While the quarterback hardly ever fails to put on a show, there have been certain incidents off the field that have left fans irate. Here we're referring to Mahomes' family's troubled time with the media and fans. Especially his wife Brittany and younger brother Jackson. The two have time and again found themselves in deep controversy due to their actions.
With the Chiefs off to another solid start this season, Patrick Mahomes pitched the idea of hanging out and playing the new Call of Duty game with his teammates.
Brittany, though, was quick to respond and give Patrick a piece of her mind regarding his plans.
The Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers last week and reminded the NFL once again why they still have a top-five offense. Torching the 49ers defense 44-23, Mahomes threw for 423 yards and even picked up three touchdowns.
Following the bye-week, the Chiefs take on the Tennessee Titans on November 6, who too are looking to make yet another deep playoff run in the AFC.
Patrick Mahomes and Brittany expecting their second child together soon
Brittany and Patrick Mahomes tied the knot this offseason during a dream wedding in Hawaii. While they're already parents to one-year-old Sterling, the couple announced back in May that their second child was on the way.
Brittany has since appeared at multiple social events, flaunting her baby bump as a memorable day of their lives inches closer. The two even held a gender reveal party where Brittany revealed with blue paint on a canvas that she is expecting a baby boy.
If that is the case and Mahomes Jr. ends up picking football as a hobby, then the NFL might see that last name again in the distant future. For now, however, the quarterback just wants to play games with his teammates.
